Homework- Monday, February 6th to Friday, February 10th

Monday, February 6th
If you couldn't come to the open house, please write a paragraph about what you did over the weekend. Circle the nouns in red. Underline the verbs in green. Put a square around the adjectives in blue. Lastly, write the adverbs in pink.

Math- Practice counting with pennies, dimes, and quarters all together. For example, what is 6 pennies, 3 dimes, and 2 quarters?

Star of the week compliments due on Friday


Mandatory Parent Meeting tonight at 7 sharp. The meeting will last one hour.

( We hope grandparents enjoyed coming on Thursday. I loved meeting them.)


Tuesday, February 7th
No homework if your parents came to last night’s mandatory meeting on time at 7 pm.
If they were late or did not attend, write a paragraph using similes, alliteration, and onomatopoeia.  Similes is comparing two things using like or as. Alliteration is the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of connected words.
Onomatopoeia is the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named (e.g., cuckoo, sizzle ).

Math- Spend at least 10 mins. on Mathletics

I have updated the Superkid's website. All backpack pages and spelling lists for Unit 3 are now online.


Wednesday, February 8th


Reconciliation book- Review Chapter 7. Please write down two facts that you learned and two important words with their definitions. Also all pages in Chapters 7 should be neat and complete. If you were absent or upstairs please make up any missing work in the book.  


Reconciliation book-Do pages 74- 75 in your Reconciliation book at home.

Math- 6-1 worksheet


Thursday, February 9th

No Homework. Miss Wilkinson’s birthday is tomorrow. Bring in your favorite book to read and/or a board game to play with the class. Also please bring in sandwiches for the needy tomorrow! Parents please bring in the "secret" tomorrow in your child's Wednesday folder.
