Monday, October- Columbus Day Holiday

Tuesday, October 11th
Superkids- Study for Spelling test tomorrow (Week 3 words)

Reading- Read your library book out loud for at least 15mins.. Write in your reading journal three words you read and don’t know what they mean. Next write their definitions and draw a picture of each word. Reading journal due Friday.

Math- 3-6

Extra Credit- Who was Columbus? Write at least  three sentences about who he was. Worth two raffle tickets

Wednesday, October 12th
Reading Journal- Write three sentences using the three new words you learned. Remember to use different forms of punctuation. Write the letter n over the nouns and the letter v over the verbs.

Math- Section 3 worksheet

Religion- Continue to study the Act of Contrition prayer

Thursday, October 13th
Social Studies- Nan's Neighborhood and Tracing Traditions Handout

Math- Challenge** Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. How long ago was that? This is worth 2 raffle tickets. Free math homework pass to use whenever you want if you get it right, but you have to solve it on your own. No one can tell you the answer! Parents and siblings may only guide you in the right direction. 

Hint: What year are we in now? What year did he sail the ocean in?
